I'm Laura. Formerly drinkthepoison(x). I've been fannish forever, but came online for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I used to run a fic archive called All About Spike; if you know me, it's probably from there.

These days I tend to skip around through various fannish interests, though nothing has come close to the all-consuming obsession of Spike fandom. Lately I've been getting into the new Doctor Who, especially David Tennant as the Doctor and John Simm as the Master (and any slashy combination thereof).

I also tend to babble about personal stuff, follow rock bands around, and talk about a site I run with my friends called SuperVegan. (Add it to your InsaneJournal Friends' List here:

superveganfeed.) In real life I'm a web developer in Manhattan.

I'm vegan, feminist, atheist, pro-LGBT rights, anti-war, blahblahliberalcakes... I don't talk much about politics here because this is my happy fannish escape-from-real-life place. But if you try to tell me I'm not a good feminist/etc because of the TV shows I like, I'll probably (virtual)smack you.
